CDA Athlete Evaluation System

Powered by Coach Dom's Algorithm

Every athlete deserves a clearer look.

We break down the film play by play and show exactly why an athlete earns their rating. One to five stars, every level, with the evidence behind it.

Why CDA

Star ratings matter more than ever.

Ratings shape scholarships, roster spots, and now NIL value. Decisions that big deserve a detailed look at what the athlete does on the field. CDA gives that look, play by play, so the rating speaks for itself.

Football is our current evaluation focus. Other sports are in development.

The CDA standard

How every rating is built

01

Film first.

Every rating traces back to specific plays.

02

Every athlete gets rated.

One to five stars, not just the top names.

03

Every rating has a path.

We show what it takes to reach the next star.

04

Verified, not assumed.

Self-reported stats stay marked until confirmed.

05

Two reviewers at the top.

No 5-star without a second qualified position coach.

For athletes and families

Know where you stand. Know what's next.

Every athlete wants to know where they rank. We tell you your rating, why you earned it, and what to train to move up. Then we re-evaluate as you grow.

Your strengths

What keeps showing up on your film.

What's costing you

Where plays break down and how to fix it.

Your next session

The results

The breakdown shows it.

Every evaluation ties the rating to the plays that earned it. Strengths, weaknesses, and the next step are all shown on film, so athletes, families, and decision makers see the same thing we see.

The CDA star scale

One to five stars. Earned on film.

A CDA rating is our football assessment, based on film and information we can verify. It is not an official recruiting ranking and does not promise a scholarship. The scoring system stays private.

1-star: Developing

Where they are: Building the foundation. Athletic traits show up, but position skills don't repeat yet.

Film must show: At least one trait worth building on and a coachable baseline.

Next star: Turn one skill into something that shows up play after play.

2-star: College roster prospect

Where they are: A skill is starting to repeat and a role is taking shape.

Film must show: One or two dependable skills that appear across multiple plays.

Next star: Consistency across games and a defined role.

3-star: Scholarship-level contributor

Where they are: Helps in defined situations with a skill you can count on.

Film must show: A repeating position skill, a clear role, and coachable weaknesses.

Next star: Do it against better competition, in more situations, or in a bigger role.

4-star: High-level college starter

Where they are: Can help early and handles more than one type of situation.

Film must show: Their best traits hold up when pressure, timing, and the opponent change.

Next star: Complete, advanced play at the position and impact in more situations.

5-star: National impact

Where they are: Advanced skills, a proven way of winning, and the ability to play more than one role.

Film must show: Every major question at the position answered, impact across different games, confirmed measurements, and approval from two reviewers.

The standard: Hype doesn't earn it. Film does.

Estimated rating

Our working assessment from what we have. The report lists what's missing and what could change the rating.

Approved rating

The review is complete and signed off. A 5-star also needs a second position coach.

Who we are

Built by a trainer who still trains and a coach who has coached.

Coach Dom trains athletes every week at Fit Fighters Sports Training and spent years as a varsity position coach. That mix matters. Coaching shows what a program needs from a player. Training shows how a player gets there. CDA is built on 15 years of both, plus the film study that connects them.

Limits

What CDA does and doesn't do

  • A rating is only as strong as the film. Highlight reels leave out missed plays.
  • Work with a minor requires parent or guardian permission.
  • We won't guess an assignment or intent the film doesn't show.
  • CDA does not diagnose injuries or give medical clearance.
  • CDA does not guarantee offers, scholarships, NIL deals, or a pro career.
